Due to conditions surrounding the death of our Founder, Dairyman and Co-Owner, Paul Schmidt, I have decided to close the Creamery.  We will no longer be making cheese after June 30, 2020.  We are in the process of working with another local dairy and anticipate that they will be carrying on our cheese making in a new location soon.  Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for further information.

Orland Farmstead Creamery is a small family owned dairy in Northern California. 


Our cheese is 100% artisanal. The culture and vegetable rennet are measured by hand, stirred into the milk by hand, and the curds are manually separated from the whey. There is no mechanical equipment involved. Even the packaging is done by hand!
